AI

Artificial intelligence is changing the way we live and work. We explore with you how the sensible use of AI can boost education in museums and exhibitions.

Dramaturgy tool

Create animated videos from static images - with effects that perfectly match the audio track, such as tracking shots, blurring or cross-fades. Create impressive results that are particularly BYOD-friendly thanks to the low data volume!

2022

Battery protection

Our optional charging chip integrated in the housing and our intelligent software optimise the power supply to mobile devices and extend the service life of the batteries.

2021

Exit games

You can only make your way through the exhibition if you solve various tasks and know how to use hidden clues logically. Solutions are not only hidden on the mobile device, but also in drawers, cupboards or fireplaces.

Integration of online catalogue

Date of origin, material, place of discovery, provenance ... These and many other details are of course part of the exhibit. We link your exhibit management with xpedeo so that you can easily share all the details with your visitors.

2019

Augmented Reality

Make unforgettable moments possible with augmented reality! No matter whether old ruins appear virtually in their former splendour or digital companions accompany you on your tour.

2018

Proximity localisation

When approaching an exhibit or entering a room, the content can be offered via "auto-start". A function that is also helpful for barrier-free tours.

2017

xpedeo BYOD

Why not use your own familiar device for guided tours in the museum? Our BYOD version also offers the familiar xpedeo convenience on visitors' smartphones, as a native app or progressive web app.

2015

Accessibility

In our barrier-free projects, we work closely with those affected and incorporate their feedback directly into our developments.

2014

Lip-synchronised soundtrack to projections

With the help of our VideoSync technology, the audio tracks of videos in the exhibition can be called up lip-synchronised via the media guides. Sign language translations can also be played back synchronised in this way.

2013

360° panoramic navigation

With our brilliant 360° panoramas, your visitors will see exactly what they are looking at in the exhibition on the screen - enhanced by navigation instructions or buttons to call up the content.

2012

Interaction with scenography

Our mobile devices can interact with your exhibition - for example, by controlling the lighting or starting videos in the exhibition. It is also possible to transfer scores from terminals as part of playful tours.

2011

Evaluation

Which paths does your audience prefer in the exhibition? What do they like to see or hear, which contributions are cancelled? Our evaluation tool provides answers to these and many other questions - in clear graphics with numerous filter functions.

2010

Indoor localisation

In addition to the various integrated forms of navigation, you can send your audience through any scenography using indoor localisation. A dot on the screen shows visitors where they are currently located.

2009

Line of sight detection

In outdoor use, our software can recognise the viewing direction and offer the appropriate content. Reality and virtual content merge into "mixed reality".

2008

Gamification

Our games convey content in an exciting and interactive way - interesting not only for a young audience!

2006

Outdoor localisation via GPS

Our GPS map mode helps with orientation in the terrain and allows infinite zooming in and out, including different levels of detail.

Media guide with editorial system

Involved right from the start: our additor editing system. It combines a wide range of functions with an intuitive user interface: everything works conveniently via "drag & drop" and can be learnt with minimal training.
