Münster City Museum 360° Panorama
2013

The young visitors are impressed.

In April 2013, we were commissioned to replace the existing Mediaguide system in the Münster City Museum with our xpedeo Mediaguide system. In December 2018, we were delighted to be trusted by the museum to handle the entire relaunch with us: Just in time for the Advent season, we installed a new generation of devices, even more precise indoor localisation and the latest versions of our editorial system additor and the evaluation tool EVA.

30 media guides use panoramic navigation to guide visitors through the 33 cabinets of the display collection on the 1st and 2nd floors:
As soon as you enter a cabinet, a 360° panoramic view of the room opens up.

In the 360° panoramas, there are red frames that show the visitor which exhibit has background information in the form of image sequences, audio or video contributions. Visitors can click on these labelled exhibits to call up information. An interface that works completely intuitively without the need to enter numbers or maps. It couldn't be simpler.

The children experience a very special, lovingly animated guided tour: in the very first entry, the two characters Mimi and Mitri emerge from their "family portrait" and explore the museum together with the young visitors. Entertaining dialogues are magically accompanied by little gimmicks such as a trip back in time to a colonial goods shop.
