For Kriebstein Castle in Saxony, we realised a project that follows the mechanics of an exit game:

Equipped with a mobile device, visitors have to find their way through the castle grounds. This is only possible if you solve various tasks and know how to use - sometimes hidden - clues logically.

Several protagonists with whom you can communicate help with this. These appear via augmented reality and serve as a connecting element between the room, digital content and the audience.
It's a game against the clock:
Can you escape the castle guard on your mission?

The quiz modules are not always digital. In many places, there are analogue "hands-on" elements and tasks that can only be completed with physical activity. The solutions are not only hidden on the mobile device, but also in drawers, fireplaces or in the guard's secret control room. And sometimes the next clue can only be found in a mirror image or by looking out of the castle window.

A new narrative space opens up here that makes it possible to experience the castle - as an exhibition venue - in a different way. The intersection of analogue and digital space paired with elements of storytelling and gamification creates a hybrid format that literally draws visitors into the history of the place.

How is the solution received by the public? Consistently positive - the offer is regularly fully booked!
