As part of the "KirchnerHAUS for sighted and blind people" project, our smart mobile devices guide visitors through the "Ernst Ludwig Kirchner - LebensSTATIONEN" exhibition. Tactile reliefs and an elaborate, audio play-like sound production make a visit to the house a fascinating experience, especially (but not only) for visually impaired people.
The enthusiastic feedback from visually impaired and blind visitors to the multimedia exhibition "Ernst Ludwig Kirchner - LebensSTATIONEN" (Ernst Ludwig Kirchner - Stations of Life) proves in particular the practicality of the inclusive audio guide, which we were able to successfully realise in collaboration with the Bremen Information Society.

NEW DEVELOPMENT: Proximity localisation
With the bluetooth proximity detection system developed by us, the contributions are started as soon as the visitor approaches an exhibit. This barrier-free technology is therefore particularly suitable for blind and visually impaired visitors.
Bluetooth actually has a reputation for being extremely imprecise. But not with us! We have rethought the technology and found a way that works robustly and smoothly.
How did we do it? That remains the secret of our resourceful software department ...
