Syke District Museum
Around 20 kilometres from Bremen, the Syke District Museum awaits visitors on an idyllic site with a large exhibition building and more than 10 historic farm buildings and outbuildings, from granaries to farmhouses. xpedeo provides an interactive tour of the open-air grounds and individual exhibition buildings.
The objects on display make traditional agricultural and manual work just as comprehensible as the changes brought about by the increasing use of different working and driving machines. The district museum is characterised by the variety of objects, documents and photographs on display, which are arranged thematically.
We have developed an interactive MediaGuide for the Syke District Museum that provides an entertaining and informative introduction to the buildings and exhibits of the open-air museum. One highlight is the interactive children's tour, which entertains with lots of little games and tasks.
