Hessisches Landesmuseum Kassel

After 8 years of renovations the Hessian “Landes” or “State” Museum in Kassel re-opened its doors in December 2016. 150 xpedeo media guides have successfully guided visitors through approximately one million exhibits in the museum since that day.

2017

Visits to the museum are enhanced by our media guide, xpedeo, with hundreds of high quality images, interesting video and audio clips. Visitors can individually choose the information they specifically want to discover. Here they select the room they are in on the device and choose the appropriate clips or commentary shown in the 360° panorama view.

A further highlight is the video-synchronisation system which we have developed. Over the media guide headphones the audio-recordings for the video projections run lip-synchronised in all the different languages.

We also came up with a solution for updating and supplementing the content simply and efficiently. Our editing system additor is another one of our products to be successfully installed in this museum.
