Gedenkstätte Augustaschacht

The exhibition is about the experiences and memories of 26 immigrants from Osnabrück. They are survivors of the Holocaust, which are living in Osnabrück since 20 years.

A big part of the exhibition are the interviews that were made with the eyewitnesses in their native language, which is russian. Autobiographies show the memories and experiences of the eyewitnesses. The project objective is that the todays society gets closer together by participation with the affected Persons.

The exhibition “Insights – The unknown eyewitnesses” is presented in german and russian and ends on 31. July 2014.
